Does your refinishing work include any warranties or guarantees?

We offer the best guarantee around; it’s a three-year, hassle-free warranty. If you have any related problems within the first year of our warranty, we’ll fix it for free. If you have any other complications during the next two years of the warranty, we’ll fix it for only $30. Better yet, our guarantee has no fine print. At Tri-Star Refinishing, we stand behind our work.

Can you fix cracks in fiberglass tubs?

Yes, we actually specialize in fiberglass tub repair. Most companies avoid repairing fiberglass tubs because it’s easy to crack the tub if you don’t understand the right way to fix it. However, we have a dependable process that allows us to repair your tub quickly and easily. First, we drill six holes in the bottom of the tub, and then we fill the holes in with a Froth-Pak. The Froth-Pak turns hard, filling in any holes and cracks, and also providing support for any other necessary repairs.

Can I have my bathtub, sink, and other bathroom appliances refinished in a color other than white?

Absolutely. We can do your refinishing in a variety of colors, like almond or bone. There is an extra fee of $50 when you choose a color other than white.

Is it better to remodel or refinish my tub?

Will the surface of my tub be slippery after it’s been re-glazed

The new finish on your bathtub is not any more slippery than the surface of a new acrylic bathtub. However, we do offer non-slip mats if you would like extra protection against slipping.

How long of a waiting list do you typically have?

Normally we can schedule you within 10-14 days of receiving the order. However, if you would like the work completed on a Saturday, make sure to schedule your tub resurfacing further in advance.

I am remodeling my bathroom right now. Should I re-glaze my bathtub before or after the remodeling is complete?

You should wait to refinish your bathtub until all of the other remodeling is complete. When we work, we are very careful to protect everything else in your bathroom.
